Adolescents´ motivation for sport

The diploma thesis deals with motivation of adolescents in sport. The main aim of the thesis is to find out the reasons why active adolescent members leave the cheerleading club. Another goal of the thesis is to create a model of the situation in which athletes begin to think about leaving. The theoretical part introduces adolescence, motivation and cheerleading. The practical part contains qualitative research, where the adolescents´ reasons to leave competitive cheerleading are identified and where a model of decision-making is created. A total of seven athletes who left the cheerleading club as adolescents participated in the research.
Motor abilities of puberty children in technically aesthetic sports

In this diploma thesis, I present technically aesthetic sports such as artistic gymnastics, modern gymnastics, sport cheerleading, dance cheerleading, street dance and aerobics. Afterwards, there are descriptions of motor abilities, the ontogenesis of motor skills of children of later school age and performance factors. The practical part focuses on the results and comparing the level of motor skills of children of later school age in the sports mentioned above. The research was established on artistic gymnasts from club GYMPRA - Gymnastics academy Prague, modern gymnasts from SKMG Chodov Prague, sport cheerleaders from Join new spirit Allstars club and dance cheerleaders and dancers of street dance from A-styl Liberec club. Conception of cheerleading as a new sport branch in Czech Republic

6 Abstract Title: Creating a new concept of cheerleading as a sport in the Czech Republic Objectives: Creating a comprehensive overview providing a complex information about the sport discipline called cheerleading. Clarifying the character of the sport of cheerleading. Gathering and submitting a comprehensive description of the sports discipline, a set of rules, mandatory elements, and methodologies of cheerleading. Preparation of a material for Czech Cheerleading Association and Institute of Czech Cheerleading as a base of metodology of cheerleading that will be helpful for cheerleading coaches in the Czech Republic to improve their skills and expending the number of members of the association. Taking photos that will facilitate understanding of issues and eliminate incorrect understanding of theoretical bases in various methodologies. Methods: A comprehensive classification of sports cheerleading industry required a consistent and detailed approach, a through content analysis of foreign literature, including knowledge and experience from my own practice and practice of other personalities involved in cheerleading from Czech Republic and abroad. Communication activities of the sport of cheerleading in the Czech Republic (2001-2018)

The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe the communication activities used by the Czech Cheerleading Association to promote cheerleading in the Czech Republic. In the theoretical part, I focus on the definition of basic concepts, specifically the definitions of marketing communication, sports marketing and public relations. I also introduce cheerleading as a sport, its history and development. Subsequently, I also present the situation of cheerleading in the Czech Republic. In the practical part, I focus on the description of the communication of the Czech Cheerleading Association. First, I briefly describe the communication from 2001 to 2014 and after that I analyze in more detail the various communication tools between years 2015-2019. I combine the descriptive method with the findings obtained from the interviews. In the end, I summarize my findings and evaluate the current communication of the Czech Cheerleading Association.
Proposal of an on-line communication strategy of a sports club JNS Cheerleaders

This thesis deals with on-line marketing strategy of a sports club JNS Cheerleaders. I have set the main aim of the thesis to suggest possible changes in on-line communication of the sports club based on analysis of current strategies of the sports club and my own on-line field investigation. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical part that is dedicated to characteristics of commercial communications and forms of commercial communication used in sports industry, and practical part that introduces sports industry of cheerleading, sports club JNS Cheerleaders, it also shows its SWOT analysis, analysis of competition and its used marketing and mostly on-line communication. Next chapter is dedicated to the results of on-line field investigation and proposed suggested changes of communication strategy for the sports club.
Injuries in cheerleading in Czech republic

Title: Injuries in cheerleading in Czech republic Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to document the injuries in cheerleading in the Czech Republic. Methods: Analysis of the literature on a selected topic related literature from the field. Distribution of injuries by medical classification. Creating the questionnaire survey for cheerleaders in the country. Carry out the investigation in a group of athletes. Statistical processing of the results and their interpretation. Results: We managed to gain knowledge about the etiology of injuries among cheerleaders in the Czech republic and to prove the influence of specific aktivity on the type of injury and the injury of a specific body part. Healthy lifestyle of young population

The thesis deals with an issue of healthy lifestyle, focusing especially on the young population. The project is divided into two parts. The first part is devoted to the theoretical solutions and defines in detail the concepts related to the topic. It deals with important areas of healthy lifestyles, especially nutrition and physical activity. Presents the principles of rational nutrition and describes the influences on young people today. It describes the consequences of improper diet and the current situation regarding overweight and obesity. The second part is focused on detailed analysis of selected institution, which is a sports club JNS Cheerleaders. This part is trying to determine whether a candidate institutions fulfill their public mission in a healthy lifestyle and whether has for this purpose sufficient funds. The final section contains a summary of the whole problem, interpret the results and submit proposals that could improve the functioning of sports club and help lead the young population to a healthy lifestyle.
